COVID 19
COVID 19 is still present and at Bournville Warriors FC we want to help stop the spread of this nasty virus. As Birmingham is becoming under new restrictions we would like to ask everyone to follow these rules:
Parents to maintain social distancing when attending training and matches
Use the track & trace system.
Players and managers to maintain distancing within the FA’s guidance boundary’s
Players must have their own drinks and not to share with others
Spectators to stay in their family groups when attending training and matches, if any clubs when your team is away have any different rules on number of people attending, your manager will discuss this when they are informing you about the fixture
Refrain from giving lifts to people who do not live within your household. If this is an issue please speak to your manager. We know many of you rely on lifts and car sharing, which is why this rule is a difficult one. However once government guidelines change, we will inform you.
At away games please follow their rules and guidance. Some may ask to do track and trace. If your manager has any further details, they will distribute to their team accordingly.
If you have any symptoms or have been requested to self isolate, please do not attend matches or training. Please follow the government’s guidance on the 14 day self isolation period. If you are in this position please speak to your manager.
If you feel more comfortable to wear a mask at training and matches, then please do so.
We are aware that some of the rules may put people in a position that football may need to be missed for a week or two. As a club we would rather not have a player for this short period than have our game cancelled for an unknown period of time and cause illness within our football community. Our managers are here to talk to both parents/guardians and players about any concerns regarding COVID 19 within our game.
Any updates we receive from the government or The FA regarding grassroots football, we will keep you posted.
Please stay safe and let’s do our part to help beat this virus and keep the game we love going.
Kind Regards
